Under the heading of you never know when your next really run project will come from. We were contacted by the editors of Country Living Magazine for a special project. The guest editor for the June 2015 issue was country music star Miranda Lambert so we wanted to make sure we delivered a great product.
Swapping out the dingy shag carpet with our custom printed vinyl flooring made quite a dramatic impact to this vintage 1973 Argosy Airstream Trailer.
Country Living Magazine asked us if we could create the perfect floor that fit the design, era and was easy to maintain and clean. We had the perfect solution using our 1.9 mm thick clear vinyl with the graphic printed on the underside. No laminates here, we print directly to the vinyl providing the thickest wear layer of any roll out vinyl flooring on the market.
The installer was able to easily trim the floor to size during restoration saying "this is one of the most unique floors I have every worked with". We have to agree with him and with a one piece installation there are no seams to deal with making it a perfectly sealed, waterproof floor.
- We only had two weeks to work with their designer, gain client approval, and produce the floor. The photo shoot was just around the corner and we had to spring in to action.
- Within one week the design was done and the following week we printed and delivered the floor to their installer.
- The install you see in the images is with one piece of material and no seams.
The trailer was on display at the Country Living Fair in Lebanon Tennessee just outside of Nashville. It had a lot of foot traffic and even more positive comments. It was great to be there to show off what can be done and deliver a floor that is truly a one of a kind.
